Alexis Ohanian Blasts Australian Cartoon For ‘Racist’ Interpretation Of His Wife Serena Williams

Alexis Ohanian has his spouse Serena Williams’ again! 

Alexis blasted the editor of Australian newspaper The Herald Solar after they printed a cartoon of his spouse on the entrance web page of their newspaper the place she’s leaping on a damaged racket throughout her dispute with a chair umpire through the US Open closing. The caricature had a phrase written on it that learn, “Vetoed. Giant hair and  too indignant.” The newspaper additionally featured different caricatures of different well-known folks and was headlined “Satire Free Zone, Welcome To The PC World.”

Alexis backed the claims of “racism” and took to Twitter to hold forth on what he considered each the cartoon and the editor who has defended the cartoon artist. 

“I’m really perplexed to study this editor of the Australian newspaper behind the blatantly racist & misogynistic cartoon of my spouse is a “Male Champion of Change” 🤔 Is that this imagined to be satire, too? @malechampions @LizBroderick,” he wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. 

In response to the AP, the newspaper has defended the cartoonist Mark Knight’s depiction of Williams and is asserting that the condemnation, which has come from all components of the world, is pushed by political correctness.
