Man sustains life-threatening injuries during downtown assault

    A 25-year-old man is in hospital with life threatening injuries after an assault downtown within the early morning hours on Thursday, in line with police. 

    Officers and paramedics responded to the scene on Dundas Avenue close to Sherbourne Avenue at round 5:20 a.m.

    They discovered the person unconscious however respiratory, police stated. 

    In line with paramedics, the person had been “severely crushed.” He was rushed to a trauma centre.
