Over 25,000 people expected to attend tech conference ‘Collision’ in Toronto

It’s being touted as one of the fastest growing tech conferences in North America, and for the first time Collision will be hosted in Toronto.The conference is in its fifth year and was previously hosted in the U.S., but Paddy Cosgrave, the event’s founder and CEO said when he announced it will be hosted in Canada, he received some criticism.Story continues below

“A lot of people on social media thought it was a crazy idea and that we should have gone to San Francisco,” he said, adding that Toronto has a vibrant tech scene which is why the city was chosen.“This is an amazing city.
