Toronto police are sending extra officers out to patrol the CN Tower and surrounding downtown space Thursday after receiving what the drive calls an “unconfirmed, uncorroborated piece of knowledge.”
Police spokesperson Mark Pugash stated that “as a results of this data, you will note an elevated variety of police officers all through town and particularly within the downtown core.”
CBC News reporters have already noticed a big police presence across the CN Tower and Rogers Centre space.
